TOFFIC SOMA GAZALI

Toffic Soma Gazali is a determined person who was born in northern Ghana. He faced a challenge when he was diagnosed with type 3 spinal muscular atrophy at the age of three. Despite his physical limitations, Toffic’s father and the healing power of nature helped him overcome this trial. This experience inspired Toffic to care for the environment. He realized that the wooden support system he needed as a child negatively impacted the trees around him, which led him to advocate for climate action on university campuses.

Toffic seeks assistance and support to make his vision come true. He believes that the Africa 2100 program can help him successfully introduce his bicycle and e-scooter initiative on university campuses across Ghana. This will reduce carbon emissions and contribute to a greener future. Toffic is excited to lead efforts in Africa to promote green business practices and initiatives that reduce carbon emissions, one pedal and scooter ride at a time.
