Danson Mwakazi

Danson Mwakazi, an innovative entrepreneur from Taita Taveta County, Kenya, is on a mission to harness sisal’s potential for local economic growth and environmental conservation. With Tsavo Eco-Crafts he will create eco-friendly, biodegradable products targeting untapped markets.

By transforming sisal from a raw export into high-value items, Danson envisions sustainable job creation, especially for women, while reducing reliance on environmentally damaging practices. Africa 2100’s support would help Danson overcome challenges like resource limitations, expand production, and strengthen Tsavo Eco-Crafts impact on community development and conservation.

Jefferson Mwandoe Mwashighadi

Jefferson Mwandoe Mwashighadi, a visionary entrepreneur from Taita Taveta, Kenya, is driven to empower farmers and bridge economic inequalities. Witnessing firsthand the exploitation of farmers by middlemen, Jefferson committed to sustainable change through Leather Technology.

His business focuses on creating high-quality leather goods that generate employment, especially for local youth, equipping them with valuable skills and steady income opportunities. With support from Africa 2100, Jefferson aims to build a fairer, balanced community by uplifting farmers and fostering economic independence in underserved areas.

Susan Ayongo Narh

Susan Ayongo Narh, the eldest of five daughters and a Krobo, excelled in mathematics but held a deep passion for fashion design. Despite wanting to pursue art in senior high, she was persuaded to study accounting, eventually earning a BSc in Accounting from the University of Ghana. Her entrepreneurial dreams persisted, though she had doubts about entering the competitive fashion industry without formal training.

Inspired by successful fashion entrepreneurs, she came across A2100, a program that reignited her hope and provided her with a supportive community. Now, with A2100’s guidance, she believes she can become a successful entrepreneur in Africa, make her mark in the industry, and inspire others along the way.

Udeme Okon

Udeme Effiong Okon, operating as Udeme Ok Agro Venture, is an agricultural entrepreneur with a deep passion for farming. He began his journey managing various crops and livestock for a friend, gaining experience in plantain, cassava, palm trees, pig farming, poultry, and rabbit rearing.

Driven by his dedication, he went on to earn a B.Agric, establishing his own venture where he focuses on fish, poultry, and rabbit farming, alongside crop cultivation. Despite facing challenges with limited resources for expansion, infrastructure, and manpower, Udeme remains determined to grow his business and create employment opportunities in agriculture.  

Pius Righa

Pius Righa, a creative entrepreneur from Kenya, is driven by a strong dedication to his faith and community. Coming from a modest background, he has faced numerous challenges but remains committed to using entrepreneurship as a catalyst for positive change. Pius aims to establish a sustainable adventure tourism company that promotes eco-friendly travel, environmental conservation, and community support.

Through Africa 2100, Pius seeks guidance to bring his innovative ideas to life, creating enriching, memorable experiences for travelers while fostering growth in Kenya’s tourism sector and his local community.
